Qinghua Wang MD, PhD
Founder, Chairman and CEO; inventor of efsubaglutide alfa (formerly supaglutide)
Dr Qinghua Wang is responsible for Innogen’s overall strategy and key business and operational decisions.
Dr Wang has more than 25 years of experience in metabolic diseases, with a focus on translational research in diabetes and other metabolic diseases. He is the inventor of efsubaglutide alfa (formerly supaglutide) and several other innovative medicines for these conditions.
Dr Wang holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Antwerp.
Qinghua Wang previously held a tenured professorship at the University of Toronto and served on the standing committee of the Banting and Best Diabetes Centre.
